Initial reports indicate that Ghostlight&AshCarnivalRagShivareewhateverthefruitbat thatstoryiscalled sucks less than I thought when I finished it yesterday. We'll see if this trend continues.

I took an hour off this morning, then opened the Snake Charmer file. matociquala caught one of my characters lying to me (Naughty Simon! Wicked Simon!), so now I have a better idea of the conflict. I'm still a little soft on my antag and don't want to kill him, though.

I would like to finish my Halloween stories this month.

I was commenting in the zoo the other day that I sometimes feel a bit self-conscious of my age. Most of my friends are older (and theoretically wiser) than me, and sometimes I feel like a kid. This doesn't really bother me 99% of the time...

But then I realize that Kathleen Brennan married my celebrity boyfriend when I was only a year old.

One year old.

Really, that's more any girl's heart should have to take.
