Bone Palace update

It turns out that I won't be receiving ARCs for The Bone Palace. Some publishers are eliminating them to save money; Orbit only does them for first books in series. Well, fiddlesticks.

I'd hoped to do a giveaway contest thingy before December, but now I'm not sure what I'd use for prizes. Does anyone have any clever ideas?

I guess this means I need to get off my ass and try a book trailer...

I may not have had much book learning...

17. Favorite protagonist and why!

That's like picking favorite children. And as long as your children aren't being unusually awful--like withholding information for six drafts of a novel--one shouldn't pick favorites. I'm fond of any protag who protags without undue prompting, and volunteers information.

All right, I admit, Isyllt is very high on the list. She knowingly rushes into dangerous situations, keeps her snark about her, and won't mince around waiting by the phone for boys to call.
