Reason for stopping: it's late, and I need to research something
Finally, this story is getting somewhere. I started this damn thing three years ago, and for that whole time I've known how it ends, but not how to get there.
Dreams is at the point where I have to stop and think instead of just blindly fixing the prose. The prose is ten thousand times better now, but I also need to shore up some structural weaknesses, and I'd rather do both at once. I'm hoping two weeks in a car will give me lots of good thinking time.
The story formerly known as "Wounded in the Wing" will be published as "Pinion". It's a good title, so I might as well get as much mileage out of it as I can.
