Cute Puppy Theatre

Walnut Creek Park is my new favorite place, and Gretchen's. The eponymous creek (such as it is after a summer of drought) is off-leash, and we met more dogs today than Gretchen may ever have seen in her young life. (Including a gorgeous weim--not that I've ever seen an ungorgeous weim--who gave me dog envy. Giant green-eyed puppies! And a fabulous wolf-bear hybrid!) Not only does Gretchen get to splash and run and play with dogs, but every single person has to stop and tell her how pretty she is.

And now that the dog has been exhausted and I'm not longer crusted in a solid layer of mud, I think I lunch before I go back to the revision mines.
