The Gimpy Eye of Balor, revisited
Our Heroine went to the doctor this morning. The doctor asked questions and shone lights in OH's eyes, and soon ruled out (as OH had already) bacterial conjunctivitis (because really, you'd know if you had it). Also ruled out was viral conj. Nothing particularly icky going on in the eye. Allergic conj. was suggested, and OH was sent home with an ocular decongestant.
OH drips cold drippy stuff in eyes, tra la la. Five-ten minutes later, the eye is much clearer, OH's persistant sinus headache is gone, the foulest crap imaginable is draining down the back of OH's throat. Ewwww.
(Our Heroine's doctor's office happens to be on the same street as Hobby Lobby and Target. She was mugged by beads and tanktops as she ventured home. And yes, OH has been referring to herself in the 3rd person all day.)

I didn't know there are ocular decongestants. Interesting.

:)
Hey, at least the headache is gone. That's a good thing.

Very glad to hear about the eye and the headache being gone. Heroines should not be in pain I've heard.

Maybe that depends on the type of Heroine....
