Our Heroine went to the doctor this morning. The doctor asked questions and shone lights in OH's eyes, and soon ruled out (as OH had already) bacterial conjunctivitis (because really, you'd know if you had it). Also ruled out was viral conj. Nothing particularly icky going on in the eye. Allergic conj. was suggested, and OH was sent home with an ocular decongestant.

OH drips cold drippy stuff in eyes, tra la la. Five-ten minutes later, the eye is much clearer, OH's persistant sinus headache is gone, the foulest crap imaginable is draining down the back of OH's throat. Ewwww.

(Our Heroine's doctor's office happens to be on the same street as Hobby Lobby and Target. She was mugged by beads and tanktops as she ventured home. And yes, OH has been referring to herself in the 3rd person all day.)

Hey, at least it isn't still pooling up in close proximity to the brain. :)

I didn't know there are ocular decongestants. Interesting.

My brain might be what's draining out right now.

See, I drew the line at pointing out that possibility -- didn't want to worry you -- but well. A person *does* have to wonder where all that stuff comes from, never mind that the sinus cavities are larger than we think and all.

:)

Hey, at least the headache is gone. That's a good thing.

This Heroine has been resisting making the long trek out to Hobby Lobby for four whole days. She hopes they might have knot covers to go over crimping beads. She does not know, but she hopes. Otherwise this Heroine will be forced to buy them on ebay, which would not be to her liking, but doable.

Very glad to hear about the eye and the headache being gone. Heroines should not be in pain I've heard.

Ooh. If you find them, tell me what they look like. I've heard of such things but never seen them. My crimp beads are shamefully uncovered.

I had to go google - now I have a gift idea for a local friend of mine who beads. Thanks! :)

Maybe that depends on the type of Heroine....

Was anyone surprised she was the one to say that? Anyone?

Glad OH went to the doctor. This one was worried, but of course she lives in worry for her Dear Friends.
