(no subject)

I'm on a low-estrogen birth control.

I'm still snarling like a ravening dingo everytime someone walks up to the circ desk, and fighting the urge to bite them and shake till something snaps.

Apparently I'm a werewolf, just without the fun claws and fangs. I want my claws and fangs, dammit! And pretty fur, too. I've still got that star on my palm...

Hear Soso RAWR! hee hee

I tried birth control once, and the harmones plunged me into a deep abyss of depression. So, I have not taken one since. You never know what those little buggers will do.

I hope you adjust well enough. :) (At least we don't have children!!! now that would be something to make me rawr!)

Even when I was on the Evil Pill o' Doom I didn't get depressed very often, but I was always angry. Of course, I'd get just as annoyed if I had kids, and I wouldn't be able to hide in my room until they went away.

[livejournal.com profile] porphyrin lent me a book about pregnancy (not as a hint on either of our parts), and I read through the symptoms of early pregnancy and thought, "If these were conclusive, I've been one month pregnant three months in a row." Luckily, I don't think it works that way.

Unluckily, it feels like it does.

That's some circle of Hell Dante forgot to mention.

In "The Opposite of Pomegranates," my main character's mother discovers that one of the disadvantages of being pregnant Underhill is that the weirdness with time translates to, in her case, a twenty-six month pregnancy.

She's never really the same after.

...

...that's cruel and unusual.

Well, I was thinking, "If they're so keen on having humans around, why don't they breed their changelings to each other?" And this is part of why they don't.

Alas, no, but it's on the list of movies that might go well with alcohol.
