This omni thing is wacky. I just gave a house three paragraphs of pov. It would have kept talking, had I let it. Peter's car also snuck in a line. It's bad enough keeping the walk-on characters from scene-stealing without having to worry about inanimate objects.

Tomorrow I'll visit the house that inspired the setting for this scene. If it's as creepy as my version, I will worry.
