You wouldn't believe what I've been through

So, a) over the past month I've become completely smitten with Avatar: The Last Airbender*, and b) I turned over the TV to the childer tonight with two-thirds of the series finale left to watch. This virtue pains me, and makes it hard to concentrate on the chapter I'm rewriting. I keep getting distracted by googling pictures of June and Mai. Not June/Mai yet, but this virtue can't last forever.

Think I could Kickstarter enough money to hire the animation team to make an adaptation of The Bone Palace? If not, I'll be reduced to begging for fanart of Mai, June, and Isyllt kicking ass in barfights and drinking tea**.



* It may come as no surprise that Uncle Iroh is my one true love. And yeah, I totally cried at the Mako tribute episode.

I, for reasons of... I don't even remember; I think I had to travel and/or uproot and move for a new job, but for _whatever_ the reasons were at the time, I never managed to watch the finale of "Avatar"-- and now "Legend of Korra" has finished (or at least finished the first season) and I have to avoid it until I've finished "Avatar."

(Hopefully, this will motivate me!)

I cannot criticize you on either of these fronts. Uncle Iroh is one of the characters I will cheerfully go on about if anyone even looks slightly as though they might be listening. Also, Mai is awesome.

I dare anyone not to love Uncle Iroh. I would have tea with him any day of the week. And I have watched the Mako tribute episode...five or six times, and the tears do not abate.
