Load six cubic yards, and what do you get?

For those of you who can see FB photos, here is day one of my xeriscaping adventure. I'm having trouble with my Flickr account. Flickr is back. Have a flickr set instead.

Reminds me a bit of when my father started a new garden -- I think we had a pile of leftover gravel and sand in the driveway for months.

I am impressed.

I would loan you my granddaughter to help move the gravel, if we were not so far away.

She loves, loves, LOVES the little round stones in the bed between the little walk and the house. She carries them ALL OVER, a handful at a time.

I'm tempted to give up on carrying the bits back.
