You guys are awesome. I have named all the previous things, based on your suggestions. (Emperor Nizam II; the Teeth of Heaven; the Silent Council [it's ironic--they're not very quiet]; and I'm using the k.)

Now for round 2, which takes us through Chapter 14, or halfway through the book.

1. One of Isyllt's aliases.

2. This world's analogue to the Romani, who are faux-Hebraic in origin.

3. The fortress/town where my not-the-Cathar heretics hang out.

4. A distributary of the River Ash, and the marsh it feeds into.

1. Hariah Booni/Bouni--*I* think it would be funny. Actually, that goes for all of these...

2. Gadjo. Though I allow that could cause some confusion, maybe, in addition to being comically self-referential.

3. Molay. Eco. Tuch (from the Barbara -man).

4. Ekri, or Pheos.

1. Borte Soghtan. (... bastardized Mongolian seems to be vaguely appropriate, for reasons entirely unknown to me.)

2. A variant on 'Radhanite' would be awesome; I don't know how you want to shift the vowels. (Radhanites! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radhanite))

3. Massaliani, or Babuni, or Azot. (All toponyms relating to the Bogomil heretics.)

4. ... oh, dear lord, I am the worst at place names. The Low March?
