Move by will alone

This book, like the Sahara at noon--not to mention cedar pollen--crushes the life from you and robs you of all vital essences. Even camels die in this book*.

54008 / 90000 words. 60% done!

The best thing this draft can hope for is brevity.

*No actual camels have been harmed in the text. No camels have appeared at all. I wonder if I need some.

Maybe some camels would help get over the hump. There's my cheesey joke of the day. I apologize but couldn't resist.

I finished The Bone Palace last night. It was awesome, with an extra heaping helping of awesomesauce. I suck at book reviews, so forgive me for not separating out all the bits I liked about it; just know that it has garnered a space in my shelf of books I am keeping to read again. (I don't have nearly enough book shelf space in this house, but that's a rant for some other place.)

I am waiting to see what Isyllt does next, where and with whom. You will not disappoint.

If not camels, kinkajoos or wallabies!

Or camel spiders! Ooooo.....
