The more I think about it, the fonder I am of the idea of Queen Sigrun. She defeats the crazy elf prince bent on destroying the world, has an affair with his sister, saves Idun's apples from undead taint with the help of other valkyries and her snarky talking pony, and wanders the wastes of the reborn world looking for the throne that was promised her.

Hey, that's almost like a plot! Now I just need to figure out a) what this thing's real title is, and b) whether it wants are more old-skool epic style or a grittier noir one.

I've combed the eddas looking for a title with no luck. Where else should I turn?

I like to go to Thesaurus.com (http://thesaurus.reference.com/?regHome=true) and surf by word association -- searching on a word that is somehow evocative of what I want, and then clicking through the synonyms (and bouncing all over the place). Sometimes it helps!
