stillsostrangeStill alive, still sick, no words. Argh. I went to work for an hour and a half today, then came home and lay in bed and watched the Boy play Worlds of Warcraft. It's very fun. He plays a zombie, and runs around killing various and sundry things.
Liz is still emotionally avoidant and thwartsome. I am torn between going back through every single scene and beating her over the head until she cracks, or having other characters call her on the avoidance later and make her deal with it before the end. (And it will be dealt with before the end, oh yes. I will not put up with this crap for another book.) I have never had any character give me so much trouble. She looks all innocent with her big eyes, but she's really a wee bundle of trauma and personal problems and she Does Not Want To Talk About It.
I have many shiny beads now. Amethyst, aventurine, tiger's eye, garnet, hematite, blackstone, opalite glass, and pearls (white, black, gold & pink). Whee! And lots of shiny glass. Now I just need the faculties to string them in pleasing patterns.
Now I will crawl off to bed. Well, I'm already in bed, but I put the computer down.
