And now, a meme

Where the hell did I pick up "on accident", since I appear to be nearly the only person in the world who uses it? Besides the conclusion that since things happen on purpose, they must also happen on accident, that is.
But, more important than my quirky speech patterns, a meme! Via
mrissa and
mizkit:
Give me the title of a story I’ve never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got submitted to magazines, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I’d been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.
I may try to really write any of the titles you come up with, and I may not.

You'd never love a slave nor fear a tyrant (because I've been listening to a lot of Norman Waterson recently. Damn, her voice is gorgeous)
What I loved best about this story was the bitterness, and the point where you realise that Nyarlathotep is going to make the worst decision (for himself), not because he has to, but because he's just plain contrary like that - and then he has to live with it. Eternally. As usual with your stories, I adored the quality of the prose, and the unusual, twisted colour of the descriptions.
