For years, my local SF society had a running joke about the cover phrase 'Has the weight and texture of Dune'. I know longer recall who said it and about whom, but the local translation was '600 pages and printed on paper'.

Last year that quote was plastered across the New York City subways, and I never failed to find it hilarious -- not that it was written, but that someone thought it made good promotional copy.
