Walls and floors and words

Yesterday's to-do list is tragically unstruck-through, but in fact much was done. There is only one section of carpet left (and the chair sitting on it). Tomorrow that goes, and then the last wall and a half of tack strips go. I filled in a few of the craters in the cement, but I suspect I'll need more concrete patch before I'm done. I also had to stop and give my vacuum CPR twice--apparently it's a delicate snowflake and can't handle too much dust.
I did the one thing I forgot to put on the list, though--climb. I mostly sucked, but I expected that after wrestling with carpet all day. I'm at the point where I need to start working on V1s most of the time. Sadly, most of our V1s are either evil overhangs, or evil tiny hurty holds. So I'll be killing myself on the overhangs.
No serious work on "Flood", sadly. I need to figure out the catalyst that sparks the climax, and Nan isn't talking yet. Since I have two weeks to find a polished draft, she needs to be a bit more forthcoming soon.
