Misery loves company

After being miserable for two and a half days, I've come to the conclusion that I have some mild form of food poisoning.

I'm used to the 24-hours-then-barf variety, and this has been a more drawn out misery. I haven't actually thrown up, though I spent half an hour today sitting on my bathroom floor wishing I would. :P I'd think it was salmonella, but I haven't noticed any fever. Maybe it's just a mild case, if there is such a thing.

So I'm cranky from being in pain for three days, cranky because I'm going to miss climbing tonight, and also cranky because I was told I'd get a phone call this afternoon and it has not manifested. Crankcrankcrank!

yikes, that sounds terrible! two and a half days, urg thinking of my misery in May I can only imagine. I am glad that at least you are home. I hope you get it sorted out and feel much better soon!

I'd say if you're still sick tomorrow you should see the doctor. Three days is too long, you should be at least a little better by now.

Damn, that's not good. I hope you feel better soon, and that promised phone call materialises.

I know exactly how you feel (http://plunderpuss.net/treasure/ecoli.html).

I had a bout of e. coli several years ago--that was pretty much a week of pure hell.

Well, I thought it was e. coli at the time. It might have just been salmonella. Because that's so much better. :P
