12541 / 80000 words. 16% done!
Reason for stopping: end of scene
Sustenance: breakfast tacos and coffee
Exercise: err...
Mean things: driving while tired, angel harassment, poked with a fishhook
Tyop: acrobot It's a circus robot! Sadly, that's not the story I'm writing.
Darling: "I know who I am now," she said softly, "and that's not it. But thanks for playing." She wasn't Mark Moon anymore, the fucked up tranny kid, or Luna Day, the even more fucked up dancer-turned-acrobat. Now she was Reese Evers, burned clean like a phoenix and mostly sane. With endless new opportunities to fuck up sprawling in front of her.
Words Word don't know: Tejano, razorwire, twinged, tranny, roadkill
That's the end of the prologue, and the return of Reese (formerly Luna) and Hunter, last seen in "Catch". I've cast Bai Ling as Hunter--crazy and way too skinny, but easy on the eyes when I need motivational pictures. Also, this book had too many white people already.
Having fulfilled that obligation, I could work on Dreams a little. Or hit refresh on LJ for an hour and hope the internets are interesting.
