Seething with passion, yet utterly cold-blooded. Dragon's blood, vetivert and spice.
In the vial: Woah, banana! I got a whiff of the vetivert and spice, and then the cloying candiness of dragon's blood turned into banana. I am afeared.
Wet: Eek, still banana! Do not want! A spicy banana, but still...
Drydown: The crazy sweetness is mellowing after a bit. Spicier and smokier now. It's not really banana, but it hits the same places in my nose. ... Oh thank god, it's fading. Sadly, dragon's blood always seems to be cloying sticky-sweet on me.
Dry: Much mellower now. The spicy smokiness is nice, but it's too sweet for me. At least this isn't red-hots, which dragon's blood also does on me. Hah! I spoke too soon. There are the red-hots.
Pannychis
An attendant of the Goddess Venus. She presides over nocturnal pleasure, nighttime festivities, and all the joy and delight that can be found in the darkness. In later ages, it became the name of the all-night festival that closed the Eleusinian Mysteries. Night-blooming jasmine, moonflower, cardamom, sandalwood, black currant, ylang ylang, frankincense and lily.
In the vial: Very floral and perfumy.
Wet: Hello, we are flowers. Sitting on sandalwood.
Drydown: Oh, cardamom, why have you forsaken me? This isn't doing that hideous jasmine thing on me, but it's not doing anything interesting either.
Dry: Flowers. Sharp and not overly pleasant. Time for soap.
Utrennyaya
Osmanthus, Damascus rose, violet, delphinium, white mint, palmarosa and white sandalwood.
In the vial: Minty and floral and very sweet.
Wet: Minty fresh! Mintsplosion! That'd be nice in a soap. Not sure I like in prefume.
Drydown: Fading fast, as mint usually does on me. Only the faintest hint of rose.
Dry: Alas, the mint is all gone, leaving a sticky-sweet floral collection. Time for more soap.
Would anyone like any of these, or Midnight Kiss or Uruk? Erich Zahn and Shoggoth I'm keeping.
