And many commas were slain, and also the awkward sentences, and the word-rep, and many other foul beasts. And the scenes of another POV which had been removed were then returned, and the book did swell to 94,000 words, MS word-count. And then she did turn off the silly Discovery show about biblical prophets, for lo it was affecting her typing in unfortunate ways.
And there was much rejoicing.
Tomorrow I'm going to run a find/replace to get rid of the lingering sallow spilling curses, and maybe a few chills. Then I need to get a technical opinion on one chunk, and then write a prologue. Yes, a prologue. Then I will have an honest-to-god draft, and will proceed to freak out over the first three chapters and make a list of agents at whom to lob this monstrosity.
