So, umm... Is anyone else noveling in January? I'm already bored with not-writing, and am considering Nin90'ing Prayers on the 1st. At least until my readers get back to me about TDC and I have to start revising. If nothing else, I can at least fix the first 20k, which were apparently attacked by the Suck Gnomes while I wasn't looking.

Anyone else starting something new? Finishing something? Printing something out and setting it on fire?

I also really and truly need to write some new short stories, as I'm down to two circulating and one in bad need of a revision before it leaves the house.

I'm starting a new novel in January. If I have the energy, I'm going to try to finish it in January, too.

Then, theoretically, February will be the month for editing/revising the novel I finished during NaNo.

Do you already have your January novel planned out?

The first 20k of it, at least. After that, not so much. Which is why it's been languishing in the trunk for a year and a half.

Me, probably. But not, you know, to Nin90 levels. I can just about manage 300 words a day while (mostly) keeping on top of everything else I have to do.

I may novel. If my short stories keep turning into novels, the bastards.

As I said, though, I won't last past midterms. *g*

I started on my 'epic-omg-this-is-too-complex' story Bastard Prince. I had thought to take a break post nano but I just can't seem to stop fiddling with something.

Me.

Working on hob an lam, and revising the suck out of my YA attempt.

I was only supposed to start writing again in Jan, but I've already started on hob again. :P

We're not addicts, we just want things to happen now. (well, I do anyway. I don't think geminis are renowned for patience.)

I'm not novelling, but I'll still be trying to beat my thesis into the right shape, which is kind of like novelling. Right now, I'd like to print it out and set it on fire...
