Girls that glitter deceive death

We thread ourselves through innocent flesh
And then we feign surprise when we see
that those we've loved to waste, they seem to be erased
Knit it through, thread it, sew it to unsuspecting flesh
They won't regret it, or so they say
And those you have loved have snagged on your thorny veins
But they don't regret it, or so you say
This may be my new favorite song. That and the Sonny Liston song. Pity they won't be seen dead in a playlist with each other.
No writing today, but I did get a lot of work done on the not-very-sekrit project I'm doing for
matociquala. I love css. I want to marry it.
I also journeyed far and wide over Austin to find a good setting for "Red is the Color", (or whatever it ends up being called) and found a truly awesome one. There is a tiny castle on a hill in downtown Austin, all boarded up, with a great view of downtown and an overgrown slope with some broken foundations covered in futhark graffiti. Apparently there are roving bands of Asatru or Odinist graffiti artists--who knew? Audra and her friends are definitely holing up there after the zombieocalypse.
And then Audra and her zombie girlfriend started giving me big eyes and saying that there aren't nearly enough lesbian zombie quest fantasies out there, and that they would bravely volunteer to quest, if I ever needed another book. We'll talk again after they've given me a finished short story.
