In 11 years of gainful employment, I've never said this before.

I miss my joooooob! Waah!

I miss the library, and the uni, and the campus pizza place, and even the silly library cyber cafe. I donwanna leave!

I need to sell a book, fast.

What are the job prospects where you're going?

There are a metric tonne of unis in Austin, and some of the public libraries hire techs without MLS degrees. And there are bookstores. So I don't really worry about finding a job. But my job was the best job.

Geez, I'm so behind the learning curve on all this stuff.

Sorry about the job-missing. I'm already melancholy about Chicago, and sniffly about all the people here I'll miss (not to diss Austin - it'll be great. It just won't be great and have all my peeps.)
