The book still fails to write itself. Neither does it respond to staring. So instead I answered the first two sets of questions from
writers_five
1. Does your protagonist have a hobby?
Sadly, I do not know the answer to this. She needs one.
2. Does your protagonist have a best friend or a confidant of sorts,
someone he/she can turn to for advice or just to talk through a touch
time?
Yes, though he's not around in this book.
3. Does your character have a quirk not dictated by the plot?
I don't think any of her quirks are dictated by the plot, though some
may be caused by her job.
4. Does your protagonist like their job?
Yes, even the horrible parts. She's an adrenaline junkie.
5. Where does your protagonist go when they're down and out? (i.e. a
favorite dive bar, a friend's house, a cave in the mountains)
Dive bars, especially the ones where her aforementioned best friend plays.
---
1 - What is your character's favorite color? Does she own anything that color?
She's trying to tell me that her favorite color isn't *really* black,
but I am not finding any evidence to support this statement.
2 - Your character wants to read a book or rent a movie - what would
he/she choose?
I'm not sure she actually reads much, outside of academic texts or
work-related material. She likes plays, though, the more melodramatic
the better.
3 - Does your character have any siblings? Do they get along?
No
4 - Has your character ever had a hangover? How did it happen?
Oh yes. The way hangovers usually happen.
5 - What is your character's main mode of transportation?
Walking, or rented carriages.
Miss Isyllt Sue really needs a hobby. And since she's not coming up with anything, I may have to assign one to her. Any suggestions?
