Ghostlight/Memory/Swampy Odin Story

Reason for stopping: all out of dialogue
Tyop: n/a
Darling: The Dark Man, the witch calls him, so you can hear the capital letters, but Memory always thinks of him as the Alligator Man--his skin creases black and leather-shiny around his dark eyes, and he smiles so slow and wide.

Yeah, that's right--this is my third story with Nyarly in the past few months. Kinda scary.
Other writerly stuff: After that I revised "Wounded in the Wing", complete with a brand new scene at the end. It will be much less embarrassed to show its face in slushpiles now. I should have known the Strix got the last word. The revision is up on the shop now, if anyone wants to play "Spot Amanda's Word-rep".
The Glamour: I really need to do laundry. And mop the kitchen floor. Maybe if I just avoid the kitchen...
The internets are full of things: A new SFWA LJ appeared today. If you're not following the latest SFWA election kerfluffle, suffice it to say that some SFWAns are leery of newfangled technology like blogs, and don't appear to believe that many people are interested in changing SFWA. So if you qualify, or believe you will eventually, and would be interested in seeing SFWA become relevant to publishing today, go and watch this journal. (Or join, if you're a member, but it's members-only.) Perhaps we can show them how fast news spreads through these crazy interweb tubes.
