Not being able to rub your eyes is one of the most frustrating things ever.

I can't think of the last time I was this sick for two frellin' weeks in a row. This can stop any day now.

I have a short story I need to finish in the next three weeks. I'm working on Wounded in the Wing right now, and worrying about the pacing. How do you pace a story that takes place in less than an hour? Lots of setting, maybe.

Last night we watched what might be the worst movie ever made. No, seriously. It was worse than The Dreaded AND Beyond the Wall of suckSleep. Combined. The Dreaded at least is funny, and BtWoS had music video montages. The only thing Forest of the Damned (or Demonic, as it's titled in the States) has going for it is Tom Savini (who I now find strangely hot), and even he couldn't drag this movie out of the bottomless pit of suck. It also had some of the lousiest editing I've ever seen--possibly the worst. The "plot" involved the stupidest kids ever to party-separate in a spooky wood, and a bunch of naked chicks who--in spite of eating nearly everyone in the film--desperately needed sandwiches. (But at least most of them didn't have porn-boobs, so I guess that's a plus.)

And yet, lost in the void of bad acting, worse writing, and awful editing, was an idea:

Denn das Schöne is nichts
als des schrecklichen Anfang, den wir noch grade ertragen,
und wir bewundern es so, weil es gelassen verschmäht,
uns zu zerstören. Ein jeder Engel is schrecklich.

I really don't need another story about terrible angels, and yet now the urge is there. The doom has come upon me...

I do not doubt you at all. The IMDb plot summary is: "A group of friends go on a roadtrip and come to a stop in a forest where legend has it a group of naked bisexual female monsters lurk. Will they awake them? And if so will they survive?" That's enough to run away from screaming.
