What does one do with a 9,000 word Lovecraftian romance, when Weird Tales is backlogged?

And why is the first answer to come to mind "make it a novel"? Because my brain is eeeeeevil, that's why.

A girl, a ghoul, a romance, a psycho apostate ghoul, and a town full of wacky ghosts. And that girl named Memory. Is this enough for a novel, if filled with sub-plotty goodness? The necklace says yes.

yes! especially if you're "into" it! If the story inspires you, it will def be interesting to others.

it sounds eerily intriguing. If that were the back cover, I would def pick up and read the beginning...
