I know an eighteenth

I know an eighteenth that I never tell
To maiden or wife of man,
A secret I hide from all
Except the love who lies in my arms,
Or else my own sister.
I'm pretty sure that one's author should rank at least as high as sisters and loves-in-arms, but apparently not. Fickle, fickle gods.
What do you think the eighteenth charm is?
ETA: Hah! Hahahahahah! I got it!
New question--does anyone know if "the love" is gendered in Old Norse? I may end up with Odin/Anubis after all.
*runs off, cackling maniacally*
