Still here, still alive. Still NaNoing, though I'm not posting updates. I'll wait till the end of the month.
I woke up this morning with my brain being eaten by fairy tales. In particular, fairy tales with cute girls and wolves. (Yes, I watched all three Ginger Snaps in a row and my brain will never be the same.)
Can anyone think of any werewolf tropes that I could dissect for use in fairy-tale land?

Date: 2005-11-15 11:51 am (UTC)I've always enjoyed fairy-tale retellings where the "heroine gets saved" version is recast with the girl saving herself. If you haven't already found it, you might enjoy poking around this site (http://www.surlalunefairytales.com/). They seem to have a lot of Red Riding Hood info.
Good luck with NaNoWriMo!

The Company of Wolves is entertaining. I should watch it again.
