Tired little brain

I'm reading Michio Kaku's Parallel Worlds, in the vain hope of being able to write my crazy girl-messing-with-time story in a way that isn't completely stupid. I like the book so far, but every now and then my groggy little brain reads "cosmetologist" instead of "cosmologist", and tries to shut down. How many cosmetologists spend their careers trying to determine the precise value of H, Omega, and Lambda?
