Words tonight: 1521
Words total: 14,004
Reason for stopping: scene
Sustenance: crackers and brie
Assistance: Katzen Katzen ueberalles!
Exercise: weights this morning, more before bed
Tyop: I keep typing as as ass, but that's it.
Darling: The man's eyes melted down his charred cheeks and Isyllt cursed; intact, he might have shared his dying vision with her. I love her when she gets to be a cold bitch.
Mean things: Blew up a shop full of redshirts, gave Isyllt a nosebleed and awkward conversation with a boy.
Words that boggle Word: matronymic, puddled, scry, bootknife

I often jest about blowing stuff up to interrupt awkward staring scenes, but this was the first time I actually tried it. It works very well indeed.

I've never had a book so influenced by current events. It's very strange.

In Michael O'Donoghue's article "How To Write Good," his tenth lesson is about finding an ending when you've run out of ideas or are just tired of writing the damn thing: "Suddenly, everyone was run over by a bus."

One day, I swear I'll use it.
