Meme kept-a rollin' all night long
Jul. 25th, 2010 09:29 pm5. By age, who is your youngest character? Oldest? How about “youngest” and “oldest” in terms of when you created them?
Umm... Moth in KoD is the youngest (important) character in the book, at 14. Memory from "Ghostlight" and "Smoke & Mirrors" is younger--exactly how old she's never said. Oldest is harder, since I have gods and ancient monsters and things that age very slowly, if at all. Adam, at 38, is the oldest mortal POV character in Kingdoms.
Adam and Isyllt may be my oldest created characters that I've written about. I have others still floating in my head that date back to junior high, but they have yet to find their way into print. Youngest is harder to say, since I'll create a few new people before the book is out. Moth is one of them, as are Varis and Phaedra Severos, who you'll meet in The Bone Palace.
And now I must cease meming to attempt to make borscht. I will report back on this endeavor.
