No Peter Murphy for me, alas. I had neither a SXSW pass nor an arm-band, and the arm-band line was nearly wrapping the block when we bailed. (And that was 30 minutes till the show, and Elysium hadn't started letting anyone in yet, passes or otherwise.) I think SXSW's ratio of cost/lines/nonsense to music is too high for me.

Other than that, I spent the day fussing with my website and trying to arrive from point A to point B in the scene I'm working on. I beat the characters like dead horses to get them to build me a conversational bridge, to no avail. And now, as I'm getting ready for bed, I realize what my bridge is.

Seriously. "#" is the greatest weapon you can use against writer's block.

TDC now has a page of its own here. I'll put up the first chapter and deleted scenes closer to the release date (and after the copy edit, so you'll get fewer stupid typos), and eventually add my map and calendar when I get pretty versions of those.

I'm once again looking for new music, this time to liven up The Bone Palace's soundtrack. I'm looking for creepy, sad, and gothy this time around, particularly anything with ghosts or demons or bones. Cold and electronic is good, but preferably not stuff that will put me to sleep. I have a lot of pretty instrumental stuff already.

So far I have a lot of Garbage, Gary Numan, Shriekback, The Sisters of Mercy, :Wumpscut:, Delerium, and the Cure, but that's like 85% of my playlists. :P

Any suggestions?
