a crazy undead sorceress bent on revenge, vampires in the catacombs and labyrinths under cathedrals, a cunning heist, the Saint of Death, seven scheming Great Houses and one mysteriously absent House, a love triangle, boating intrigue, the sekrit history of the city, a spymaster who's gone over to the papists, a king with anger-management issues and a tenuous grip on mental stability, an angsty and thrill-addicted entropomancer, a shadowy order of whoracles, a cop about to retire city police trying to do their damn jobs, the sekrit of reincarnation, gaslighting, and a magical plague.
