Operation: Gothtopus
Oct. 28th, 2008 01:52 pmFour tentacles down, four to go.
Notes so far:
*Next time, maybe get little foam tips for the ends, because stuffing them with polyfill is both a nuisance and conducive to lumps.
*Next time, six inches longer. They won't drag on the ground once the wire is shaped.
Next year I may upgrade from gothtopus to proper squid. I'll make two longer arm tentacles, and get a hood and beak. That would be rather awesome.
I could put sequins on the undersides to simulate suckers, or maybe spray the underside with glitter for a different look/texture. Any suggestions?
