Sluggy slug slug slug
Sep. 21st, 2007 11:12 pmToday I was saved from total slugdom only because I made a necklace. It's a pretty pearly thing, for
bards_and_beads' Kushiel prompt from a few months ago. Like the books, making it seemed to go on and on and on and on... And then I stabbed my finger with a needle. But it's pretty. I'll take pics some day when I'm not too lazy to go upstairs to the scanner.
The lessons learned from the necklace making include: pliers are better for gripping needles than your teeth, and holding a beading awl between your knees and then bending over is a bad idea.
I realized the problem with the stupid piracy scene I've been banging my head against--above and beyond the character arc problem. I may have to make a flaily whiny post soon, if I can't work it out.
In other news, Dr. John is coming next month, and I has tickets!
