Sometimes, with all the word-count craze, I forget about the real purpose of LJ: pictures of cats. So here is a picture of Fafnir, looking demure in the office window. He also does the "I saw what you did there" stare, but that one was out of focus.

Letting my geek flag fly

So, I am reading Buffy Season 8. It is amusing to see which actors the artists can nail, and which not. Xander seems to have Spike's cheekbones all of a sudden. Because I am bored and the coffee is still dripping, I present you with a random collection of thoughts:

*I don't know if it was Joss or other writers responsible for the gawdawful Xander resets during the show, but that shit had better be over. Nick Fury Xander is full of awesome and win, and I would like to keep him.

*Wherever Willow's been, they apparently sold cheesy renfaire clothes. I hope she doesn't go back.

*I too envy Satsu's hair.

*Speaking of hair, who is the red-headed slayerette with the unfortunate Highlander accent, and did she break up with Black Bolt when her slayer potential was tapped?

*I am really bummed about the spoiler of spoiler. I liked him. I should perhaps sneak him into one of my stories.

*Torturing your enemies may be fun, but three in the head and you know they're dead. Usually. Even in the Buffyverse. Maybe.
