(no subject)

Happy Solstice.

I celebrated the longest day of the year by getting up at 4 AM. Any less sleep, and I would have become an airport zombie, shambling through Austin-Bergstrom mauling travelers for their coffee. I have napped since then, so now I'm just groggy.

I should have breakfast, and then revise "Ghostlight" before inflicting it on hapless critters.

It's official: I'm old.

I was just "ma'am"ed by a high school kid at the comic book store.

I should have known it was happening when my hip started to hurt this year.

But in half an hour I'll drag my geriatric ass back out, as Celia Friedman is signing at the aforementioned comic store. (Which is called Ninja-Pirate. They so have my business.)
