I reread "Winter Coats" and want to pull my hair out. This story is so damned pretty--how did it end up lacking all conflict? Seriously, nary a drop to be found. Fruitbats, where have you gone?
I think someone else's story and a song are trysting in my brain again. This time it's
sovay's "Nights With Belilah" and Thursday's Child. Their offspring would certainly be pretty.
Contracts and a check in the mail never get old.
I am sleepy, but the laundry isn't done yet.
Someday I will have regular progress reports again, but not today.
