Not so great stuff
Jun. 11th, 2006 03:20 pmFor those of you interested in such things, Baen's Universe is overstocked and closing to subs for the summer. Odin and his witch will spend that time looking for an alternate home.
And under the category of Worst Possible Ways to Wake Up, I experienced a charming one:
Being woken up at 6:30 AM to ID a dead cat in the street. It was, alas, Ben the porch cat. She was a good kitty. At least by time I got up again to go the store, someone had cleaned up the remains. (I could not have done so easily, for I do not have a shovel or giant spatula.) :(
