Fishes Hedgehogs and Leaves
Feb. 23rd, 2005 10:09 amWhy must The Hedgehog Review be critical reflections on contemporary culture? I was really hoping for a publication by hedgehogs, for hedgehogs. (And no, it's not contemporary hedgehog culture--I checked.)
The fish girl story continues, weighing in at about 2100 words so far, with more scribbled in a notebook at home. This story is very hard, but does not yet hate me. I hope I don't break it. To everyone who read and commented, thank you very much.
I'm reading House of Leaves. Wow. After years and years and years, I've finally found a book I shouldn't read alone at night. So of course I will. I can only dream of writing something so creepy. I loff it. Except when he uses "should of" instead of "should have". Then I want to track him down and spork him till he begs forgiveness.
