To my old PC, a Frankensteinian confusion of Steven's old PC Cerberus and my old Mnemosyne. She might have lived longer, had she a case that actually sealed and a fan that wasn't older than dirt. Ah well. Now I have Odin, who is shiny and probably the newest computer I've ever had. If he lives up to the name at all, I'm sure we'll have an interesting relationship. I'm still in the process of retrieving my files and mp3s.

Very unproductive today, save for revising one scene for continuity. In the process I accidentally nicked an angst vein, resulting in much spurting. I'm so glad my protagette decided to unhealthily bottle up all her adolescent angst for EIGHT STINKING YEARS until I came around to pry it out of her.

And now for bed.

people don't you? You have quite a surreal
imagination...you would rather live in fantasy
than reality.

[livejournal.com profile] mrissa says smart things about women's clothing woes here. I'm a strange mutant who's actually been able to find jeans I like that fit me for the past few years. Low-slung, flare-legged jeans are the best thing that ever happened to my ass.

(My personal conspiracy theory is that lately jean makers and belt makers are out to get us all. Jeans get lower, until one has to wear a belt or flash one's underwear (or worse). I'm not too keen on sharing my underwear with coworkers and random passers-by, so belts are the way to go. But lately the quality of belts seems to be getting worse and worse, though their price has not dropped accordingly.)

But I see a lot of skinny girls whose clothes don't flatter them at all, and the clothes don't look cheap.
