That book meme

1) Total books owned?: Umm... I'm so not going to conduct an accurate count. I would guess 700+, not including the 75 library books I have checked out right now. That's also not including a shelf of Steven's computer books, so maybe 750+.
2) Last book purchased?: Kim Wilkins The Autumn Castle, which I will probably post about pretty soon.
3) Name five books that mean a lot to you:
The Lord of the Rings -- my earliest and strongest literary influence, and the standard to which I hold epic fantasy to this day.
A Wrinkle in Time -- I should really get a new copy.
The Mists of Avalon -- I really locked onto this book in all sorts of ways in junior high. To this day it influences my view of Arthurian legends.
Hammered -- :) Because I have a cookie in print, and because eBear is the smartest of bears, and one of my biggest inspirations to get off my ass and learn to do this right.
Low Red Moon -- Kiernan set the bar for modern Lovecraft. I still can't even reach the bar, let alone manage a chin-up, but I'm trying.
