My brain grew another novel! Another one!

I wrote the scene I just posted, and I thought about it, and rambled on about Holly and the ghouls to Steven for a while. And then it clicked. That's the missing piece. Holly and all her baggage and her damn French cigarettes are the missing subplots that turn "The Violet Hour" from a embarrassingly large short story into a real novel.

My baby just grew up.

It's a paranormal romance. Even worse, it's a love triangle. With ghouls. Shoot me now.

Oh yes! The triangle is two ghouls and a paleontologist. And then there's the villain--I hope he doesn't get uppity and want a romantic subplot too. And there are ghosts hanging around being silly too.
