A need for nomenclature

In an effort to rid myself of pesky [bracket notes], I need a word for the spirit world, as my jinn and Assari mages see it. Examples include Dragon Age's "the Fade", and White Wolf's Umbra, but mine is neither faded nor shadowy. It's bright, colorful, shining. Mortals perceive it as beautiful and treacherous, like a mirage. It overlays the world of flesh, and in some places they connect.
I was thinking of some form of mirage, since other cultures call it "the reflected world", so there would be a common root. The boy suggests some variant on "the Hum", or aziz, which I'm also fond of (especially since aural descriptions are my weak point).
I dunno. Thoughts? Brilliant suggestions? Maybe I can save up enough money to hire
truepenny to Name All The Things.
ETA: Or maybe the Fata, after Fata Morgana mirages...
