Shutter Island made me very, very happy. It also makes me very bitter and sad that Dark City was not as good as it ought to have been.

Also, Jackie Earle Haley needs to stop being awesome in everything, because I am morally opposed to the Nightmare On Elm Street remake.

I'm pretty sure that trauma and traum are false cognates, by the way, but I would love to be proved wrong. The idea is lovely.

Today was an Ikea day, and now I have a new bookcase and two new DVD racks media storage units. I just need two more and maybe I can contain the CDs that are scattered around the house. If I blow off noveling again tomorrow, I might actually have a clean living room.
