A proper update, for once

Sustenance: sweet & sour chicken and chocolate, not together
Reason for stopping: Need to stop and think
Mammalian assistance: Siggy is being especially presumptuous today, especially in regards to my chair
Tyop: I had one, and now I've lost it
Darling: The print of Asheris's hand circled her wrist like a shackle gall, char-black and flaking in the middle, seeping raw flesh beneath. The edges were pink and blistered, hot and painful enough leave a sour taste in her mouth, but she couldn't feel the worst parts. At least the ashen air had clogged her nose enough that she couldn't smell the burnt-pork reek of it.
Yeah, that's the same hand she got stabbed in earlier.
Character quirks: After all the shit that's happened so far, Isyllt balks at letting a boy carry her.
Annoying things: Do you know how hard it is to describe a volcanic eruption without wearing "ash" into the ground?
At least Isyllt is awake and working again. And I have a third or so of the daring piracy written. Now I just have to sort out everyone else.
