After three hours of delays, one airline switch and one plane swap, I am home. I have to do this again in eight days.

I wonder how much of this damn book I can revise in eight days.

Good luck. I had such a hell flight to DC two weeks ago (and no connections!) that I am dreading my flight to Atlanta next week. I am embarrassed to admit that I once worked for an airline and I am now stunned by how far the industry has slipped. This whole "buy snacks" on a flight instead of getting something is annoying, but worse when you consider the number of travelers who seem to be stranded at the gate or out on the tarmac with increasing frequency.

If you have a particularly unlucky fight you may be able to do some revisions on laptop while waiting on the airline's service.
