It's okay for gay people to redecorate our homes, give us makeovers, and have high-rated television shows. It's not okay for them to get married.
I guess that's like how it's okay for colored folk to sing and dance for us, and clean our houses, but not to vote or drink out of the same water fountains.
Freedom of speech, if you toe the party line.
Freedom of religion, if you're Christian.
All men are created equal, if they're straight and white, preferably with money.
It's okay to rape your own children, but not somebody else's. Unless you're famous, and then that's okay too.
I hate this country and the blithe hypocrisy on which it's founded. I hate the blissful ignorance that keeps it going. I hate the brain-dead, entitlement-fat cattle who perpetuate it, content with bread and circuses and lazy boys.
